My fingerless gloves knitted on the loom

Three sorts of gloves I made.

I made a pair of fingerless gloves, using the tutorial Melli's Mish Mash:

Because these gloves were a bit too long for my taste, I made some changes to the pattern.
I also made a pair for my little daughter (5 years).
Please use Melli's tutorial, the only changes I made were the number of rows.

If you are new to the loom, Melli also has some very nice links for the basics you will need:
·       knit stitch
·       purl stitch
·       bind off/single crochet off

Left the adult size short glove and on the right the kids size

For the size 7,5 adult wrist length gloves:
I used my 24 peg loom (smallest I got) and a double yarn US size 3/needles 3,5-4)
1.     Knit 2 pegs, then purl 2 pegs for 10 rows. This should create a ribbing effect.
2.     Knit stitch 5 rows.
3.     After the 5 rows knit back and forth 6 times  to create thumb hole (back and forth counts as 1). Look at Melli's tutorial for some pictures!
4.     Knit stitch 15 rows.
5.     Then, knit 2, purl 2 for 6 more rows.
6.     Then bind off/single crochet your project. Make sure you tie off the ends well.
7.     Do it again and you'll have your pair!

For the small size kids wrist length gloves:
I used my 24 peg loom (smallest I got) and a double yarn US size 3/needles 3,5-4)
1.     Knit 2 pegs, then purl 2 pegs for 4 rows. This should create a ribbing effect.
2.     Knit stitch 3 rows.
3.     After the 5 rows knit back and forth 4 times  to create thumb hole (back and forth counts as 1). Look at Melli's tutorial for some pictures!
4.     Knit stitch 10 rows.
5.     Then, knit 2, purl 2 for 4 more rows.
6.     Then bind off/single crochet your project. Make sure you tie off the ends well.

7.     Do it again and you'll have your pair!
